Accessibility Statement
Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 1.0 · Operated by Ashlar Enterprises LLC
Our commitment to making LifeAnchor usable by everyone, where we stand today, and how to get help if something gets in your way.
1.The short version
2.Our commitment
Ashlar Enterprises LLC (“Ashlar”, “we”, “us”) wants LifeAnchor to work for people of all abilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. Families include people of every age and ability, and a tool for running a household should work for all of them.
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We consider accessibility when we build new features and when we revise existing ones.
3.Where we are today
We want to be straightforward about our progress:
- LifeAnchor has not yet been fully audited against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we do not claim full conformance.
- Some older screens may not meet our target yet — for example, in colour contrast, labelling of controls, or keyboard focus order.
- The Scientific Calculator supports keyboard input and has labelled keys.
- We test layouts on phone-sized screens so the app adapts to smaller displays and to the mobile app.
4.Known limitations
- Graphs and charts are visual. In many places the same information is also available as a table or list, but not yet everywhere.
- PDF exports are designed for printing and may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
- Third-party pages are outside our control. Sign-in and consent pages from services you connect — such as Google, Microsoft, Apple or a health-device maker — are run by those companies.
If one of these limitations affects you, let us know and we will help you get the information another way.
5.Get help or report a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of LifeAnchor, please tell us:
- Email [email protected] — the subject “Accessibility” helps it reach the right person; or
- Use the Feedback button inside the app.
It helps to tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Alternative formats. If you need information from LifeAnchor, or any of our legal documents, in a different format — such as plain text or large print — ask us, and we will work with you to provide it.
Reports of accessibility barriers are treated as bugs, and we use them to decide what to fix first.
6.How we are improving
We give priority to barriers that stop someone from completing an important task — such as signing in, recording or finding health information, using the Emergency Card, or managing household members — over cosmetic issues.
As we complete reviews and fix issues, we will update this statement and its effective date so it reflects where LifeAnchor actually stands. If you are a parent or guardian setting up LifeAnchor for a family member with a disability and something doesn’t work for them, we especially want to hear from you.
