Cookies & Local Storage Notice

The cookies and browser storage LifeAnchor uses, why it uses them, and how you can control them.
1.At a glance
This notice is provided by Ashlar Enterprises LLC (“Ashlar”, “we”, “us”), the operator of LifeAnchor. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to the LifeAnchor website, web app and mobile apps.
2.What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep and send back on later visits. Local storage, session storage and IndexedDB are places in your browser where a website can keep information on your device. Local storage and IndexedDB stay until they are cleared; session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Information in local and session storage and IndexedDB stays on your device unless the app sends it to us as part of normal use.

5.Third-party technology
Where it is enabled, our sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not a bot, is signing up. Turnstile runs in a frame provided by Cloudflare, Inc., which collects browser and device signals and your IP address for that purpose and may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social-media pixels, session recording or any other tracking technology, and we do not allow advertisers to place cookies through LifeAnchor.
6.Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track you across websites or use cookies for advertising, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off. We honour Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale and sharing; since we do not sell or share personal information, LifeAnchor works the same either way. See our Privacy Policy.
7.How to control cookies and storage
You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Site data”. Signing out of LifeAnchor ends your session. On the mobile apps, you can clear stored data by signing out or by clearing the app’s data in your device settings.
8.Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when we add or change cookies or storage, and post the new version here with a new effective date. If we ever wanted to use a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we would tell you first and give you a choice where the law requires.
